PDX is a document viewer and editor, part of the Looplet software suite, operated from Queensland, Australia. Questions about this policy: danielsivyer4567@gmail.com.
When you open a file in PDX — in the browser at pdx-viewer.pages.dev or in the desktop app — it is processed by code running locally on your device. Files are not uploaded to us, stored by us, or visible to us. Anything you save (edited files, marked-up PDFs, filled forms) is written straight back to your own device.
Some features keep data locally so they work the way you'd expect. None of it is transmitted to us:
You can erase all of it at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser, or uninstalling the desktop app.
Some PDX documents include a return address chosen by the person who sent them to you. If you use Accept & Sign, your signed copy is sent directly from your device to that sender. It does not pass through, and is not stored by, PDX.
The website is served by Cloudflare. Like virtually all web hosts, Cloudflare processes standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not add analytics, advertising or tracking of our own. The landing page loads fonts from Google Fonts, and the app may load open-source libraries from the cdnjs content delivery network — your browser makes those requests directly, which exposes your IP address to those services, as with any website that uses them.
Because we don't hold personal information about you on any server, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete — your data lives with you. If you believe we do hold something, or you have any privacy concern, email us and we will respond promptly. Australian users may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au); EU/UK users retain their rights under the GDPR.
PDX is a general-purpose tool and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
If we change this policy — for example, if we ever add optional accounts or sync — we'll update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
